...My Life as 'Drive away' driver

Really short day today, but I needed to go in and turn in my paperwork. Roads were bad so I had to wait about a half hour for the shuttle driver. Then it was only about 10 miles to the shop, no paperwork to sign, I've been to this shop many times. No issues starting the bus, this was the one I had driven two days ago. 10 miles back to the shop and I was done for the day. Just had to turn in my paperwork. Office decided to check my paperwork and sent me a long email of 'errror's.' They just don't like the way I do it, it was fine with the last two plus people checking the paperwork, ever since we've had the current forms. Not sure what I'll do about it. There are over 50 places on the paperwork that the office wants us to fill in. NONE of it is required by the DOT and the office does not use any of it. The way I look at it is, the more stuff you write down, the more chance you have to make an error. ... We'll be watching the 'board' for work on Friday. No work Friday either. Would be nice to head out but it needs to pay ... and now it is cold. |
