Spending the night at home.

Spent the whole day hitting refresh on the load board. Both of us. We didn't leave the house until after close of day. Yesterday there were things that could have worked to get work, today there was not.

Spending the night at St Cloud ... on vacation.

Spent the whole day hitting refresh on the load board. Or one of us did. I went out and mowed a couple of times.

... and one of those times, the only good runs of the day popped up.. BB called, but while she was on hold, one of them dropped from the load board/was taken. So she hung up.

Earlier in the day there had been one to CA. this time there was two ... but not going to the same place.

Not for us, but at one time there were five going to the same customer in Canada. Those were the only ones all day on the load board at the same time, going to the same place.

Another week gone ...

Last year on the 20th is when the big 'dump' was for the month. That will be Monday. So we are hoping they load the board up on Saturday after they close. If so, we will head that direction. And we may head that direction even if they don't load the board.

We've been <> sitting for a month now. So today after the office closed and we were sure there were no more trips ... we headed out. We are going to spend the weekend walking state parks and cemeteries. Something we haven't done for a long, long time.

Spending the night at home ... again

Hitting re-fresh again all day. There was one RV early that was likely the result of a no-show driver. Then there were three times later that they added about four trips. One of those time there were two RV's to Greer SC. That is a place we like to go but they were not the best paying RV's. And by taking those, we would have locked ourselves out of going any long trips this month.

We are now down to less than three weeks before we need to be back in MN in June. And it has been well over a month since BB worked so we can't just take a trip where only I work.

There is now a trash truck going up to Fargo that would work but then we wouldn't be watching the load board.

20/20 hind sight, I would have been more productive if I would have sat in my garden all day instead of hitting re-fresh all day. But we didn't know that ahead of time.

Spending the night at home ... again

Load board today was very slow. No new RV's put on the board until after noon, then they put four out at one time and later at about three PM they put out 7. No pairs.

A driver who has been in contact with me from FB wanted me to call him. He was having a money issue with one of his carriers and wanted to talk about. While we talked I was likely hitting re-fresh every minute or two for that hour.

There was one to CA that I had mentioned we could grab and 'hope' there was another one tomorrow. But that trip was gone before they finished putting the rest from that group on the load board. Seconds, only on there for seconds.

Not sure what is going on with that carrier website. We might have gotten the 'Our site is currently down' message 100 times today. Hopefully we didn't miss anything because of it.
