Still off work for the rest of this week. BB had her one month follow-up appointment today and as soon as she 'passed' that she set up a DOT appointment for Friday. That was the earliest they could get her in. The way our long haul company is set up is they only get the updates once a day.

So when BB passes, she needs to go to a local DOT office here in MN. Then our long haul company won't see it until the following day. So if she passes this next one on Friday, it will be Monday before they see it. Home for another weekend.

I-Pass ... our trips from 10/6 and 10/10 finally got billed on 10/24. We can't wait two plus weeks to get paid and we only get one chance to turn in paperwork so we get to eat these. Not a big deal, mostly annoying.

There has been some interesting stuff on the load board as we sit and watch it off and on all day. :)

NC - 9

Four on the load board going over 2,000 miles.

Out of IA there are
4 to FL
3 to MT
3 to WA
2 to OH that are no-tows so we would make money on a shorter run also.

There had been a couple of southern CA runs earlier today but those don't last long. Looking good to be back on the road again Monday or Tuesday.

BB passed her DOT this AM, no issues.

Then we went to the DMV to get her info in the state system. When I went there a month ago it took me about 15 minutes total. We got there today and it took about 15 minutes ... just to get a number. With an estimated wait time of 2 hours.

We went and got lunch nearby and then came back and sat and waited. Lots of time to sit and watch all the people taking their road tests. No accidents today, one was close.

It ended up taking 3 hours from the time we got there until she was done. And the actual face to face time was about five minutes.

Other things going on in our lives and we forgot to email a copy to the main office.

Now we are not sure when we will be back on the road. Maybe we will be doing some local stuff this next week.

Messaged with one of our long haul drivers and he said that two of the bus locations are hurting for drivers (and I sit home)
