Comfort Zone Inn - Rothsay - NOT POSTED until
it is not listed as a B&B;
Fargo was sold out
and Motel 6
(which usually is priced in the $30's) had been $69 when they still had rooms.
So we ended up at Rothsay after midnight. I am really sorry I did not take
any pictures, as the one that is/had been posted here is not for this location.
Also, a picture of the outside of this place will not match with the perfect
score this place has gotten in the five (six with mine) reviews. From the
outside it almost looks like a steel shed, inside it looks like a northern
MN/WI cabin. Lots of REAL wood on the ceiling and walls. Pictures in the halls
between ever two doors. I was traveling with someone and all they had left
was a one bed room with a pullout. We took it. The room was small, but didn't
seem as crowded as the old Motel 6 rooms. Bathroom was small, with one of those
doors that is in the wall instead of the normal kind. Small triangle desk in
the corner, flat screen TV near the ceiling. As I described this room to
someone prior to writing this, they said it sounds like it was someones
'hobby,' more than a source of income. That I don't know, but it did look like
they put that kind of care into the place. |
